I started this newsletter to share my experience thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (SOBO 2023). My hope is that my story might kindle in you — whoever you are, and wherever your people may come from — your own outdoor ambitions.

I now use this space to write about where I’m at and what I’m thinking about: immersive language learning, hiking the seriously (!!) under-hyped trails of the Global South, tryna cultivate a rich inner life, etc etc.
